The Governor Bill Richardson Collection.

The Governor Bill Richardson Collection of World Marbling has started. With the pieces of marbling already donated to the Palace of Governors from the "First International Marblers' Gathering"; some pieces from the State's traveling show, "Rebirth of a Craft"; and the donated pieces already in my possession.

I have already received letters from marblers who have heard rumors of an interest by the State of New Mexico in marbling and these collectors of marbling want to trade marbled papers from their collections with the state of New Mexico.

Haight Street; Olaf's backyard in Berkeley; the Faire site; and various flops and pads.

As far a I can remember it was New Years Eve 1969 when I arrived in San Francisco from the East Coast. I had hitched a ride with Brown and his cat.
The wonderful friend and great artist Alexis America, who I had know from Uconn, was living in the first floor apartment with a bunch of other people at this Haight and Baker Victorian. They let Brown and I sleep on a mattress on the floor in the so-called living room.
