Governor Martinez with Hanna Skandera on Southwest.

The last three times I had to pass through Baltimore airport a violent thunder storm destroyed my luggage on the tarmac; a rare earthquake forced a total evacuation of the terminal; and I was on the last plane to leave Baltimore before hurricane Sandy smashed the east coast. Needless to say I was reluctant to fly there again but I did last week and it turned out to be very enjoyable only because my fellow travelers were Governor Martinez and her family, her Chief of Staff, and New Mexico's Secretary of Education … all of us traveling a crowded Southwest Airlines delayed commercial flight.
What an amazing confluence. Governor Martinez sold Fat Bill's State jet plane and now flies like the rest of us only, from what I saw, with a little more grace and patience.
